First, you must own the material otherwise places like YouTube will reject your work and you can get sued for copyright infringement. Second, if you want to make an income you must put the effort in and make sure the video is made with care. A video with poor quality will have the audience turning it off within seconds. I suggest you learn some basic editing skills in order to create quality content. One of the top important things to do is make sure you have good sound. Sometimes the camera’s microphone is good enough but many web cams have offer terrible sound. If possible, use a good external mic.

Make Money With Videos On YouTube By Monetizing

In YouTube go into your account settings and monetize one or all of your videos. Ads will be placed over your videos and you can make money if someone clicks on that very ad. This is really effective if you get a lot of views and have popular videos. If you have music in your videos, make sure you have proof that you can use it. YouTube will not allow you to monetize your video if you don’t the rights to the music.

Get Paid Using Affiliate Links

You may also partner up with a company that has an affiliate link such as MCA or Empower Network. You can place the link in your description of your video and when people click on it and a sale is made, you get paid. “How To” videos are the most popular videos online and when they are very informative and well made you can very well be on your way to make money with videos and make a great residual income. Many choose to use video screen capture software to show people using a visual tutorials of how you do what you do. If you do this, be sure not to make the same mistakes others make. Remember to keep your videos less then ten minutes long. The shorter they are the more you will attract viewers. Remember to use a good microphone, and if you can, edit anything that’s not needed such as long pauses, sneezes, coughs, etc. A great way to start would be to make some practice videos first to get the hang of things and use to the camera. Finally, be sure to watch the videos back to make sure they are ready for the world. You don’t need to be perfect or super polished as people do like real but at least make the video appealing enough for others to view.
